Next Day Apostille Service

We understand the importance of a fast apostille service and we are dedicated to processing all orders as quickly as possible!

What is a Next Day Apostille Service?

As a 'Next Day Legalisation Service Provider' (a name given to us by the FCDO) we are able to begin processing your order on the day it arrives, with the aim of completing it by the following working day.

There are certain key timings and criteria that must be met in order for us to achieve this. We believe in transparency and the aim of this page is to outline exactly how the next day apostille service works.

How does the Next Day Apostille Service work?

We are committed to transparency and honesty and we want you to know exactly what needs to happen for us to provide a next day apostille service. It is important to state, these points apply to ALL NEXT DAY APOSTILLE PROVIDERS so anyone stating they can provide a faster apostille than us is simply not being honest. We are all affected by the same issues based on the time we receive the document, the type of document, the contents of the document and the time of year. Please read on to find out more...

Eligibility for Next Day Service: Orders received before 10am on a working day, and without any queries (see below for more details on what a query might be), are eligible for next day completion. This is subject to successful verification of signatures (see below) and documents being prepared and/or certified correctly.

Processing Time During Peak Periods: While we strive to process all orders as quickly as possible, please be aware that during peak times, our service might extend to 2-3 working days. This is due to factors beyond our control, such as increased volumes or delays in external processes.

Comparison with Direct FCDO Submission: It's important to note that if documents are sent directly to the FCDO by the general public, especially during peak times, their processing can take significantly longer, ranging from 4-6 weeks.

Factors Beyond Our Control: We strive to process all orders as quickly as possible. However, there are circumstances beyond our control that may affect processing times. Some examples of these factors and typical 'queries' that may be raised are as follows –

  • Documents are not correctly certified by the legal official who has certified your document. If our solicitor is doing the certification it will be done correctly the first time.
  • We receive a photocopy in cases where we need an original document.
  • Legal signatory is not already known to the FCDO, this is a signature verification query and causes a delay while the signatory is contacted and told what they need to do to be added to the system (unfortunately no one can check a signatory in advance due to GOV security rules.)
  • External factors such as delays with postal services/couriers.

(This is not an exhaustive list)

It is important to state, these factors apply to ALL NEXT DAY APOSTILLE PROVIDERS so any service provider stating they offer a next day service, no matter what, is not being transparent about the process or the delays that can occur beyond their control.

It is also worth stating we do not offer different speeds of service, we offer one speed and that is next day wherever possible. Some providers have an enticing headline price but when you look at the timescale and whether it is all inclusive you will often find they are not offering the next day service at that price. We aim to offer the best value available for a next day apostille service and invite you to contact us to discuss if you have found a comparable service for less.
