Public Holidays Affecting Apostille Service
At the start of June there will be 2 public holidays (bank holidays) to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
How will this impact the apostille service?
Due to the public holidays, there will be no apostilles issued for several days. In addition to the two public holidays the FCDO government office, that issues the apostilles, is closing for a third day on Monday 6 June.
No apostilles will be issued from 2 June to 6 June! Any orders being processed on or after 1 June will not complete until at least 7 June.

- 6 June 2022 – FCDO Closed
Embassy Attestation Delays
Most of the embassies in London will also be closing for the public holidays. We expect to see delays to embassy orders due to the closures at the FCDO and embassies.
