This really depends on the document and the embassy rules. In most cases original documents are required. Some embassies will also accept certified copies. We will advise you on what is needed for your specific documents.

Original documents MUST be attested
- Birth Certificates
- Adoption Certificates
- Marriage Certificate – Civil Ceremony Certificates
- Medical Note – Doctor’s Note
- Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage
- Death certificate/Coroners certificate
- HM Revenue and Customs letters signed by an HMRC officer
- ACPO or ACRO Certificates
- NPCC Certificates and Police Letters
Copy documents MAY be accepted
- Degrees, Masters, PGCE
- Diplomas & Transcripts
- Final Order – Divorce document from court
- Passports – we can only legalise a photo copy, not the original
- Company Certificates of Incorporation
- Memorandum and Articles of Association
- Annual Returns
