Here at The Hague Apostille Service we strive to make our ordering process as user-friendly as possible. We also complete the vast majority of apostille orders within a matter of days.

As a good starting point, you can find the service you need here. After you have added the required service to your cart you simply need to follow the checkout process as you would if ordering anything from any online shop.

After this, post the documentation which requires legalisation with your order number. We do not need you to send in anything else.

Although we aim to begin processing all orders on the day the documentation is received, there are occasionally queries with documents that we may need to contact you about. This may increase the processing time for orders by a few days.

Use the following points to help streamline your order;

• Post your original documents to us. In most cases, we either need the original to send to the FCDO, or for verification purposes.
• We recommend sending the documents using a secure tracked delivery method.
• Make sure you have selected the correct delivery method, i.e. not a UK delivery option to an overseas address. We recommend opting for the tracked courier service.
• If you are using the document in a country that isn’t a member of the apostille convention then you may also need embassy attestation. Check if you need to order any extra attestation services.
• If you are having a document pre-certified or notarised, check if the solicitor or notary has signed the document correctly.
• If you require legalisation for your passport, please make sure it is signed where it says ‘holders signature’.
